Eh. That’s really all I have to say. I was not very impressed at all. With the way the economy is now, one would have thought that retailers and manufacturers would have really knocked prices down. People want to see five and six hundred dollar doorbusters, not ones that are over one thousand. That’s not say that there were not some good deals, though. I personally didn’t bother waiting in line early in the morning; the local Best Buy had plenty of inventory to cope with the entire day. I went around 1:00 in the afternoon just to see what they had. My mom ended up getting an LCD monitor for the computer I’m building her for christmas, and I got a Sony Blu-ray player, a Micro SD card for my GPS, and a Blu-Ray movie. I bought a computer toolkit on Newegg for 50% off, too. That’s really it, though. No big purchases like a TV or anything. I can say that the Sony Blu-ray player, which happens to be one of the newer models, was priced amazingly at $199.99. I was quite impressed with that, and I’m quite impressed with the quality of the Blu-ray movie I bought, Untraceable. What sort of deals did you guys find? Let me know in the comments!
